Happy Friday morning in New York City where a New York Times columnist is getting dragged on X over his alleged $78 airport meal.

While at Newark Airport, David Brooks posted a picture of a burger, fries and a drink claiming the meal was $78 dollars, adding โ€œThis is why Americans think the economy is terrible.โ€ But further investigation into the bill shows 80% of the tab was actually Brooksโ€™ bar bill. The restaurant that served him even joined in on the roast of Brooks.

This just in! Federal prosecutors have indicted Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey (again) and his wife on corruption charges related to a halal meat business and exports to Egypt.
