Here are the best 4/20 events across the city – New York Daily News

Happy 4/20! New Yorkers can get lit and celebrate cannabis and its burgeoning legal industry across the city.

There’s a handful of legal shops to get your ganja (plus a gray market smoke shop on nearly every block) but if you want to do more than hotbox your shoe box apartment, here’s the rundown on where to spark up and get the good vibes rolling in NYC.

House of Cannabis, or THC NYC, a new immersive weed museum in SoHo, promises a blazing good time at their 4/20 block party. The all-day event, at 427 Broadway, will feature live music, free treats and gifts and a special performance by A Boogie wit da Hoodie at 4:20 p.m. You can also walk through the museum’s 10 multisensory experiences created by artists and filmmakers, centered around cannabis culture.

Black Girls Smoke, a cannabis company geared toward women of color, is returning to Prospect Park for its third annual 4/20 celebration. The picnic-style kickback is gratis. Starting at 2 p.m., you can chill in the park with DJs, live music and vendors. It’s BYO-blanket and snacks, though.

From 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., shoppers can get 20% off in store and online, along with gift with purchase.

From April 20 through May 20, Sackville & Co., a woman-owned stoner brand, is hosting a pop-up shop at The Shop at The Standard, High Line at 848 Washington St in Manhattan. The brand sells NYC-inspired weed streetwear, and design-minded grinders and papers. Stop by on 4/20 — the first 50 people through the door get a free tote stocked with goodies.
