Man fatally stabbed in NYC on Pier 84 between the Circle Line terminal and the Intrepid: NYPD

A man was stabbed to death in an early Thursday morning attack on the West Side of Manhattan, according to the NYPD.

The suspect knifed the 35-year-old victim in the chest in the park at Pier 84 on 12th Ave. and W. 44th St. between the Circle Line terminal and the Intrepid Museum in Hells Kitchen just before 6 a.m., according to police.

The stabber then fled with five other men who were on the pier, police said.

Police released photos and video of the suspects wanted in the stabbing of a 35-year-old man.

The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, but he could not be saved.

Investigators tracked the fleeing suspect and his cohort via video surveillance cameras, zeroing in on them as they jumped the subway turnstile, according to footage released by police.

The prime suspect in the homicide was described as a light-skinned man with a Caesar-style haircut and wearing a white shirt, light shorts and white sneakers, police said. He was carrying a cross-body bag and a black backpack.
