A 4-month-old baby girl was found abandoned on a Bronx street corner early Friday by her mother who was later arrested on child endangerment charges, police said.
The infant was found alone in a stroller outside a deli on East Gun Hill Road near Fenton Ave. in Baychester about 5:20 a.m., according to cops.
Several witnesses called 911 and helped police identify the totโs mother, Jawana Sallie, who was arrested by police at her home about two hours later.
Sallie, 42, was in her home, which was about six blocks away from the deli, when she was arrested, charged with endangering the welfare of a child and other charges, cops said.
The baby wasnโt harmed and was taken to Jacobi Hospital for observation.
