Lior Abramov, a 20-year-old native from Hopewell, moved to Israel last year to join the military and become a DJ, Murphy said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

On Wednesday, state officials announced the killing of another New Jersey native in the attack, 20-year-old Itay Glisko.
Federal officials said earlier this week that 27 U.S. citizens were killed in the attacks and 14 more remained unaccounted for. Officials have not released an updated count as of Friday.

Several tristate area natives still remain missing, including Edan Alexander, a Tenafly High School graduate. At the time of the attack, Alexander was a soldier in the Israeli Defense Forces near the Gaza border.
