A 41-year-old man riding a dirt bike died after he slammed into a parked pick-up truck in Queens, cops said Wednesday.
The victim was zipping along Hollis Ave. in Hollis at an unsafe speed and without a headlight when he veered to the right to avoid a car making a left turn onto 201st St. about 8:55 p.m. Tuesday, cops said.
He lost control of his green Kawasaki KX250X dirt bike and slammed into the back of a parked red Ford F-350 pick-up truck.
The dirt bike rider wasn’t wearing a helmet and suffered massive head and body injuries after he was thrown from his bike.
Medics rushed him to Queens Hospital but he couldn’t be saved. His name was not immediately released.
