A pack of teens cornered and stabbed a man in the lobby of a luxury condo building in Brooklyn Tuesday.
Multiple witnesses spotted the teens chase the victim from the Atlantic Terminal Mall to the State St. entrance of the Boerum Hill building between Third and Flatbush Aves. at around 2:30 p.m.
The teen assailants cornered the victim in the lobby of the eight-story condo building, dubbed Brooklyn Heights, where they beat and stabbed him, according to a woman who works at a nearby residential building.
โHe ran into the lobby looking for help, and they still stabbed him,โ she said. โIt was crazy.โ
The teens left their victim crumpled on the floor near the buildingโs mailboxes as they fled through a rear entrance, witnesses said.
The victim, who police described as a man in his 20s, suffered multiple stab wounds in the attack and was transported to Methodist Hospital in critical condition, cops said.
A worker at the Atlantic Terminal Mall said he recognized the victimโs assailants as teens that routinely congregate around the Brooklyn shopping center.
โThey hang out over here,โ said the man, who works maintenance at the mall. โWhen they get high, they get brave and they do this s—.โ
Cops are on the lookout for five suspects in the stabbing. No arrests have been made.
