New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been dogged by a federal investigation into his top campaign fundraiser, and this week, WNYC learned of some questions surrounding his campaign and tax dollars. But WNYC’s Charles Lane reports that many of the rules governing campaign finance law are riddled with loopholes, making them easy to exploit. He joins Weekend Edition host David Furst on This Week in Politics to explain what ‘suspected undisclosed bundlers’ are – and to discuss efforts to close those loopholes.
