Now running point for a two-time MVP in Antetokounmpo, the Bucks have shot back up the sportsbook rankings as the favorites to win the 2023-24 NBA title, which would be their second championship in four years. This coming after a disappointing first-round exit against the Miami Heat in the playoffs last season.
The Heat were believed to be Lillard’s favored destination and because of that, they were the overwhelming favorites to land him. Now, Jimmy Butler and Co. will have to prove themselves as again as legitimate contenders.
