Boys and Girls High School — you are next.
The football Tigers of Fort Hamilton High School put their perfect 2-0 record on the line Saturday when they host the Boys and Girls Kangaroos at noon.
Last week, the Tigers ripped Bayside (0-3) 64-28 – that is 110 points in their first two ballgames — they opened the season with a 46-0 whitewashing over Cardozo High School by rolling up 317 total yards – 221 rushing.
What is even more amazing, according to official game stats, the Tigers amassed 475 total yards in the Bayside win — Bayside failed to gain a yard. Fort Hamilton had 302 yards passing – again to Bayside’s zip.
August Porter, a junior, opened the scoring for the Fort, on the receiving end of a 44-yard pass from junior quarterback Aidan Farley. Porter ended the day with his second touchdown — a 38-yard bomb from Farley.
Sophomore Harold “Trey” Marshall III scored on a seven-yard run; junior Kevin Lin scored on a 31-yard pass from Farley; junior Emanuel King scored on a 22-yard run; and Zaire Thomas received an eight-yard pass from Farley for another Tiger score.
