SCHENECTADY — City police said they arrested a Schenectady man Thursday after investigating a threat someone made to “shoot up the school.”
At 11:10 a.m., Schenectady police community engagement officers assigned to Schenectady High School were alerted by staff that a student’s family member was on campus and made the threat, according to a police statement. The man left campus and was located a short time later by a police patrol.
The 24-year-old was awaiting arraignment in court later Thursday on a felony charge of making a terroristic threat.
