With the NWSL season under way featuring U.S. Soccer’s brightest national stars, a highly anticipated WNBA season tip-off in mid-May, the LPGA playing at Pebble Beach and the FIFA Women’s World Cup this summer, it’s time to mark your calendars and plan some in-person and remote viewing experiences.
The hashtag #womenworthwatching isn’t just a tagline at the end of this column, it’s how I plan my short trips and vacations, often with a crew of friends and family members. Organizing road trips to watch women’s sporting events is part of my genetic makeup.
And I still use a paper calendar with highlighter marks. I’ve sharpened my pencil and filled in the next few months. Let’s do this.
