Body found in Bethlehem’s Henry Hudson Park

Police are at the park on the Hudson River

BETHLEHEM – A body was found floating in the Hudson River late Tuesday morning, town police said.

The victim is female but police have not said if she appears to be an adult or child.

Police removed the woman’s body from the water at the edge of Henry Hudson Park in the hamlet of Selkirk.

Authorities said the body was found near the park’s boat launch. 

The discovery was first reported by WRGB – Channel 6 reported earlier Tuesday afternoon.

The body was found at about 11:33 a.m.

An Albany County coroner was at the scene, police said.
