Investigators are trying to determine the cause of early morning fire that damaged two buildings
SOUTH GLENS FALLS – Two buildings, including one that once housed a McDonald’s and a Chinese restaurant, were damaged early Sunday, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
The blaze, reported at 4:34 a.m., began in the restaurant building at 22 Main St., before spreading to another building that hosts a laundromat and a chocolate shop.
No one was injured and, deputies said, no one was in the buildings when the fire started.
So far, there is no word on the cause of the fire. State and local fire investigators were trying to determine how the fire started.
