The FireWolves (3-12) close the National Lacrosse League season with three straight contests at MVP Arena, starting Saturday night against the Georgia Swarm (7-8), led by former University at Albany star Lyle Thompson.
Albany is winless in six home games, including one-goal losses to Rochester and Georgia and two-goal defeats to Las Vegas and Toronto.
“We’ve had some good games at home,” FireWolves coach Glenn Clark said. “It would be nice just to send (the fans) home happy. You don’t focus on the victory, necessarily, but you certainly want to play well. I think we want to show what we showed in Rochester in terms of how we play the game, how we compete.”
