Police say foul play not a factor in the death of man found late Saturday on the street near the intersection of Albany and Martin streets
SCHENECTADY โ A man seen running into traffic Saturday night was later hit and killed when he jumped onto a car at the intersection of Albany and Martin streets, police said.
Police were alerted to the emergency at 11:31 p.m. They said they found a man in the street dying from a head injury.
Detectives interviewed people at the scene who helped them determine the man jumped onto a moving vehicle before suffering his fatal injury. Police said witnesses spotted the man darting into traffic shortly before the impact.
Police said detectives do not believe foul play was involved in the man’s death.
The man’s identity will be released after police said they can tell his family about his death.
