NISKAYUNA — Cooper Harvey stood silent for nearly the entire second quarter Thursday afternoon. The Niskayuna senior goalie watched his offensive teammates reel off 11 straight goals after Guilderland’s Michael Scuzzarella scored on a sensational behind-the-back shot. When Niskayuna’s defense was called upon, it delivered in a resounding 22-3 Suburban Council victory Thursday.
Harvey, who made five saves Tuesday when the Silver Warriors posted a 9-4 win against Shaker, has been on point all season. During the fall, Harvey handled place-kicking duties for the football team and helped Niskayuna capture its first Section II Class A championship. “Cooper is so great. He is exactly what we need right now,” said Niskayuna senior longstick defender Dylan Coan. “He is making these great saves for us.”
“I love playing lacrosse and I love being with this team,” Harvey said.

Senior attack Greyson Vorgang led the way with eight goals and two assists. Davey Carroll contributed three goals and…
