Niskayuna police continue to investigate the wreck that claimed the life of Pilar Secord, 59.
NISKAYUNA – Police have identified a 59-year-old Schenectady woman named Pilar Seacord as the victim of a fatal two-vehicle wreck on Route 7 from over the weekend.
Seacord was pronounced dead at the scene following the crash that occurred at 3:35 p.m. Saturday on Route 7 near Algonquin Road.
The driver and passengers of the second vehicle as of Thursday remained at Albany Medical Center Hospital where they are being treated for injures.
The crash remains under investigation. The Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office is assisting Niskayuna police with the probe.

Several local fire companies and Mohawk Ambulance responded to the scene and assisted to treat injuries.
