LATHAM — Visitors to NOVUS headquarters on Friday afternoon were greeted by an unusual sight: Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker sitting in full uniform, including helmet, at the front desk.
Butker was shooting a commercial for NOVUS, a custom sportswear and apparel company that manufactures Butker’s clothing line.
The last time Butker was seen in uniform, he kicked a 27-yard field goal with eight seconds left to give the Chiefs a 38-35 victory over the Eagles in Feburary in the Super Bowl in Glendale, Ariz.
Butker earned his second Super Bowl ring with the Chiefs.

Butker became one of three kickers in NFL history to make a Super Bowl-winning kick in the final 10 seconds, joining the Patriots’ Adam Vinatieri (twice) and the Colts’ Jim O’Brien.
Butker also made a 45-yard field goal with three seconds left to beat Cincinnati 23-20 in the AFC championship game.
“It’s just very humbling to now be standing here as a two-time Super Bowl world champion, to be a kicker in that select few that has had a game-winning kick,” Butker said. “But it doesn’t seem like I’ve done anything. It almost seems I’ve been placed here and I’m very thankful that God has blessed me with all of these blessings and all of these opportunities that I’ve just been able to show up for, kind of.”
After the Super Bowl parade and other events, Butker headed to California to spend a week at St. Michael’s Abbey, a Norbertine Catholic monastery.
“I was on a retreat and just trying to grow in my spiritual life,” Butker said. “Just…
