One man allegedly threatened the clerk with a knife during the early morning robbery
QUEENSBURY — Two men were charged with felony robbery for targeting a Speedway gas station on Aviation Road, State Police said.
Troopers were called to the store around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. A clerk told tpolice that a man threatened him with a knife and demanded money. He then got into a vehicle driven by another man and left. Troopers did not say how much money the man left with. No injuries were reported.
State Police said they located the man with the knife a short time later while he was on foot. The 36-year-old Queensbury resident was charged with robbery, possession of a weapon and menacing. Warren County sheriff’s deputies found the car and the driver, a 25-year-old Greenwich man. He was charged with robbery.
Both men were taken to the Warren County jail to await arraignment.
