Trevon Diggs has seen enough.
The Dallas Cowboys star cornerback wants his brother out of Buffalo following their latest defeat, a 24-22 loss to the Denver Broncos. After seeing his brotherโs team fall to 5-5 on the year, Trevon Diggs went to X, formerly known as Twitter, to voice his opinion on his brotherโs tenure in Buffalo.
Trevon can clamor as much as he wishes to get his brother out of Buffalo, but it does not seem like a possibility based on the structure of Stefon Diggsโ contract in Buffalo. Diggs is still producing at a high level for the team and his dead cap ensure he will be on the roster for at least another season.
In fairness to Trevon, Buffalo is wasting an outstanding year from their No. 1 receiver. Diggs was held to just three catches for 34 yards against the Broncos, but has 73 receptions for 868 yards and seven touchdowns through 10 games. Diggs is top-five in all three categories this season yet the Bills find themselves at 5-5 and outside of the playoff picture with a tough road ahead. One of the Billsโ remaining matchups is against Trevonโs Dallas Cowboys. Unfortunately, the brother versus brother matchup will not happen as the cornerback tore his ACL in practice back in September.
Stefon has said all of the right things in regards to wanting to retire as a member of the Bills, but this season has been a trying year for Buffalo. Now with his brother piping in his two cents, it will be interesting to see if anything comes from it.
