Josh Allen has done a little bit of everything in the first half of the Buffalo Bills’ Wild Card weekend matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Early in the game, Allen was dealing with his arm. He threw a touchdown pass to Dawson Knox on the Bills’ opening drive of the game and later found Dalton Kincaid for a score with a laser for the team’s second score.
Up 14-0, Allen decided it was time to use his legs. Facing a 3rd and 8, Pittsburgh was able to collapse the pocket. Allen, however, was able to get away. Once out in the open, Allen was able to build up some speed and run for a 52-yard touchdown.
According to the Bills’ PR team, Allen’s run set a franchise record for longest run by a Bill in a playoff game, surpassing a 45-yard TD) by Joe Cribbs in 1981 (12/27) at NYJ.
Following the score, media members were gushing about Allen’s score. Here’s a look at what they said.
