Police are investigating after a body was found in an Upstate New York river.
WHEC reports a pedestrian walking across the Andrews Street bridge in Rochester, N.Y., called 911 after seeing a body in the Genesee River around 11:15 a.m. Sunday morning. The Rochester Police Department and Rochester Fire Department responded to the scene and recovered the body from the river.
According to the Democrat & Chronicle, the body has not been identified. The Monroe County Medical Examinerโs Office will determine the cause of death and the identity of the person.
An investigating is ongoing. No other details were released.
