Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen reveals why he finally started sliding, avoiding hits vs. Commanders

LANDOVER, Md. — When Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen takes off with the football, he is known for taking big hits to pick up every yard possible.

Against the Washington Commanders, however, something changed for Allen. Instead of taking unnecessary contact, Allen found himself sliding to the turf whenever Commanders defenders were closing in on him. He also showed a willingness to run out of bounds on one play that was ultimately called back for a hold.
