Jake Ferguson and the Dallas Cowboys prepared for the Buffalo Bills in an unusual way.
Leading up to the matchup, Lunda Wells, the Cowboysโ tight ends coach, put pictures of Bills defenders on pads for Jake Ferguson and other tight ends to run through. Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News reported that no disrespect was intended. It had more to do with playing an uncommon opponent, based on what a coach told him.
Front and center on the pads were linebacker Tyrel Dodson and safety Tyrel Dodson. Dodson clearly saw the Cowboysโ preparation, made note of it and was ready to troll Dallas for it following Buffaloโs 31-10 blowout win.
In a since deleted Instagram post, Dodson posted the pads. Instead of the faces of Bills defenders, however, Dodson put an L on each one.
Well played, Tyrel. Well played.
