Syracuse, N.Y. — A car crashed on Syracuse’s West Side Monday, landing on its roof, closing a city street to traffic.
The crash at 3:40 p.m. closed down West Fayette Street between Magnolia and South Geddes streets.
Firefighters initially received a report of someone trapped inside the vehicle, according to District Chief Matt Craner, a spokesperson for the Syracuse Fire Department. He said firefighters determined no one was inside the vehicle, and a woman was receiving assistance from paramedics.
