I am blessed to live in a setting where I can take my two dogs off the leash on long walks in the beauty of creation. It is always fun to watch Harper and Henry as they take pleasure in the sights and smells in the fields. Yesterday as we walked, we were accompanied by two butterflies who fluttered together in an impressive sequence of movements. As I watched this magnificent dance, I could not help but feel my worries and anxiety subside as we all stood in amazement. In that moment I was reminded that the simple act of stopping to notice the beauty that surrounds us can change our perspective and realign our attitudes. Nature has provided for us as a resource of relaxation and rejuvenation and all we must do is take the time to notice its beauty.
