Syracuse, N.Y. — The No. 17 Syracuse women’s basketball team defeated Pittsburgh, 63-53 in the JMA Wireless Dome on Sunday, as fifth-year guard Dyaisha Fair passed Brittney Griner for fifth place on the Division I scoring list.
Despite poor shooting for the first three quarters, Fair went for 15 in the fourth quarter as she helped the Orange erase an 11-point deficit.
