Fall foliage in Upstate NY: Peak colors in Adirondacks, Catskills, and Western NY

Fall is in full swing and peak foliage colors are hitting across Upstate New York from east to west, despite record breaking heat.

I LOVE NY, the stateโ€™s tourism website, has released their fourth fall foliage map predictions for changing colors during the week of Oct. 4-10, 2023.

According to volunteer observers, moderate temperatures, plentiful sunshine and lack of frosty nights should add up to a picture-perfect foliage viewing adventure this weekend.
