Despite the fact that these players departed from the organization, it’s entertaining to keep an eye on former Bills players and see how they fare after they leave Orchard Park.
Here’s what some former Buffalo Bills players did in Week 5:
Zay Jones (Jacksonville Jaguars)
Former Buffalo Bills receiver Zay Jones had a decent showing against his previous team in London. Not only did the Jaguars win their second international game this season, but Jones had three catches for 23 yards and one touchdown. His longest reception was at the start of the second quarter. He took the pass to Jacksonville’s 27-yard line for a 10-yard gain.
Jones was drafted by the Bills in the second-round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Zack Moss (Indianapolis Colts)
The third-round pick of the 2020 NFL Draft had a monster day on the ground for the Colts to help pull out a 23-16 victory over the Titans. Although Jonathon Taylor was just signed to a massive three-year, $42 million contract, the former Bills back led the rushing attack for Indianapolis.
Moss had 165-yards on 23 carries and two touchdowns. His longest run was a 56-yard touchdown as time expired in the first quarter to lead 7-3. He then capped a nine-play, 75-yard drive with a three-yard touchdown to go ahead 17-13.
Robert Woods (Houston Texans)
The receiver was targeted nine times in Houston’s 21-19 loss against the Atlanta Falcons. He had 30-yards on three receptions, his longest being a 13-yarder.
Woods was drafted by the Bills in 2013 and played four seasons in Orchard Park before he signed with the Rams, where he played for five seasons and made an appearance in “the big game.” He signed a deal with the Texans in the offseason after spending one year with the Titans.
Tyrod Taylor (New York Giants)
Taylor was signed to Buffalo as a free agent in 2015 and helped lead the Bills to a playoff game in 2017, which ended their 17-year streak without a playoff berth. He was traded to the Browns in 2018 after Josh Allen was drafted and then…
