Since the announcement of Fran Brown as the new head coach for Syracuse University football in early December, it’s been really fun to watch the fans’ excitement grow as he fills out his coaching staff and brings in some highly-ranked recruits for visits and commitments.
There has been a lot to keep up with if you’re a fan, and syracuse.com has a new way for you to stay in the know. A few weeks ago, we launched the Syracuse Sports Insider Subtext with reporter Brent Axe.

Brent also checks in with the group to hear what they want answered most before walking into a press conference or interviewing an athlete or coach,” Nate said. “It’s our way to show insiders we value their place in our SU sports coverage and keep them at the forefront when delivering the content they’re hungry for.”
