Godsmack is returning to Central New York for a summer concert.
The rock / alt-metal band will perform at the Event Center at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, N.Y., on Sunday, July 21. Flat Back will open the show at 8 p.m.
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 22, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster. Presale tickets will be available Thursday, March 21, for TS Rewards Members.
Godsmack, led by singer-guitarist Sully Erna, formed in the Boston area in 1995 and has released eight albums, featuring hits like โWhatever,โ โVoodoo,โ โBad Religion,โ โAwake,โ โCryinโ Like a Bitch,โ โ1000hp,โ โWhen Legends Riseโ and the Grammy-nominated โI Stand Alone.โ
The hard rock group has performed in Central New York many times, most recently playing the St. Josephโs Health Amphitheater at Lakeview (now the Empower FCU Amphitheater) with Staind and Mixmaster Mike last year. The Turning Stone is their only scheduled stop in the state this summer.
