Herkimer County woman charged for stabbing boyfriend in back, troopers say

Schuyler, N.Y. — New York State Police have charged a woman with stabbing her boyfriend in the back in the town of Schuyler Saturday, troopers said.

Around 10:47 a.m., officers responded to the Colonial Motel Apartments on State Route 5 for a reported stabbing following a domestic incident, New York State Police spokesperson Trooper Jack Keller said.

When troopers and Emergency Medical Services arrived, they found a 36-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to the back, Keller said. The man told officers his girlfriend stabbed him with a kitchen knife, he said.
