High school sports roundup: Sophomore’s big game boosts Bishop Grimes girls soccer over MPH

Bishop Grimes coach Kennedy Yearby said she knew it was only a matter of time before sophomore Adrianna Scollo broke out for a big game.

“She just had so many 1-on-1s with goalies, so many chances in other games but she just couldn’t put them away,” Yearby said. “And so she’s been really pushing herself, but I kept telling her, ‘I’m waiting for a game that was … it’ll be clear that this is your game and I’m waiting for you to really turn a corner.’”
