Both these teams are 0-0-1 to start the tournament. Argentina lost 1-0 to Italy in their tournament opener, while South Africa fell 2-1 to Sweden. With just three games per team in the Group Stage, a loss on Thursday will spell early elimination, while a win stands a chance to keep them in the running for the knockout bracket.
Argentina ran into a midfield stalemate, against Italy which they will look to avoid in their next matchup. They’ll rely on Vanina Correa in the goal while keeping pressure on South Africa. Banyana Banyana will look for more scoring from the likes of Hildah Magaia, who scored their lone goal against Sweden.
