Jack Antonoff’s band Bleachers to play Central New York concert

Superstar music producer Jack Antonoff is bringing his alternative rock band back to Central New York.

Bleachers will perform at Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards in LaFayette on June 8, 2024. Special guest Samia will open the concert at 7 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 8, at 10 a.m. via Tixr.com. An artist presale will begin Tuesday, December 5 at 10 a.m.; a venue presale will begin Thursday, Dec. 7, at 10 a.m. with special code CIDERDONUT.

Bleachers is an indie pop/alt-rock band led by Antonoff, the Grammy-winning producer and songwriter best known for his work with Taylor Swift, Lorde, Lana Del Rey, Sara Bareilles and Syracuse University alum Clairo. He was also the guitarist and drummer for Fun., a project with Nate Ruess that hit it big with the songs “We Are Young,” “Some Nights” and “Carry On” in 2012.

Bleachers has released three albums featuring popular songs like “Don’t Take the Money,” “Stop Making This Hurt,” “Rollercoaster” and “I Wanna Get Better.” A fourth album is expected to be released in March.

The band last performed in CNY at Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown in 2022. Bleachers has no other Upstate New York stops scheduled in 2024.

It’s the second concert announced for Beak & Skiff’s 2024 lineup. Country duo Brothers Osborne will perform June 27, 2024.

Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards is located at 2708 Lords Hill Rd. (Rt. 80) in LaFayette, about 10 miles south of Syracuse. Past acts who played the Beak & Skiff Summer Concert Series include The Avett Brothers, Mt. Joy, Noah Kahan, The Gaslight Anthem, Bright Eyes, Death Cab for Cutie, Lake Street Dive, X Ambassadors, Lord Huron, Indigo Girls, Bruce Hornsby, Ani DiFranco, 10,000 Maniacs, and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.
