Jordan Brooks was sick 2 days before death; mom told to take him to doctor, neighbor says

Pulaski, N.Y. — Lisa Waldron knew her son Jordan Brooks was sick two days before he died, a neighbor testified on Friday.

Jordan, 17, died from sepsis and malnutrition in May 2021, authorities say. He weighed only 55 pounds when he died, an average weight for a kid half his age. He had open, bleeding sores, investigators reported.

The teen’s stepdad, Anthony Waldron, 46, was charged with second-degree murder and first-degree assault and is now on trial in a courtroom in Pulaski.
