Judge gives Syracuse strip club, city officials another month to reach settlement on closure order

Syracuse, N.Y. — A judge Wednesday gave the owner of a long-time strip club and Syracuse officials another month to try to come to a compromise over the city’s order closing the club.

State Supreme Court Justice Robert Antonacci II said during a hearing Wednesday morning that he was trying to give The Alpine Bar and Gentlemen’s Club “one last chance” to reach a plan for remaining open in some form. The judge scheduled a follow-up hearing for 9:30 a.m. March 28.
