Syracuse, N.Y. — Senior guard Darrick Jones Jr. scored 17 first-half points to lead the Le Moyne College men’s basketball team to a 92-54 victory over Fredonia State on Wednesday night at Ted Grant Court.
Jones nailed a trio of 3-pointers and made six free throws en route to his career-high point total while adding a team-high seven rebounds and three assists.
Graduate student forward Luke Sutherland registered a game-high 19 points, including 14 in the first half, while grabbing five rebounds, dishing out three assists and blocking two shots. He finished 5-of-6 from the field, including 3-of-4 from 3-point range and went 6-of-6 from the foul line.
Freshman guard AJ Dancler tallied a career-best 13 points, eight of which came in the first half while pulling down five rebounds.
Redshirt freshman guard Kaelin Thomas tallied a career-best 10 points in a career-high 13 minutes and posted career-bests of two rebounds and two assists.
David Jordan led the Blue Devils with 16 points, including nine in the first half. Keenan Roberts Jr. tallied 10 points and seven rebounds.
Le Moyne (3-5) returns to the hardwood on Tuesday at Army West Point at 6:00 p.m.
