Loretto, Pa. – Graduate student forward Luke Sutherland (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) flirted with a triple-double to lead the Le Moyne College men’s basketball team to a 74-58 victory over Saint Francis University in the Northeast Conference regular season finale on Saturday afternoon at DeGol Arena.

With the victory, the Dolphins finish the regular season with a 9-7 record in NEC action and close the campaign in fourth place. The Dolphins will host an NEC Tournament quarterfinal game on Wednesday against fifth-seeded FDU at 7 p.m.
Sutherland finished the game with 22 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field, including 3-of-4 from three-point range, a career-high eight assists, seven rebounds, two blocks and one steal. Graduate student guard Kaiyem Cleary (Manchester, England/Redemption Christian Academy) registered 16 points, six rebounds, two blocks and two steals. Senior guard Darrick Jones Jr. (Richmond, Va./Oak Hill Academy) went 3-of-3 from three-point range and 3-of-4 from the foul line for 12 points to go with two assists and two steals.
Carlos Lopez, Jr. led the Red Flash in defeat with 17 points. Bobby Rosenberger almost posted a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. Aaron Talbert recorded 10 points, five rebounds and a pair of steals.
