Le Moyne women’s basketball falls to Boston University

The Boston University Terriers absorbed a big third-quarter run by the Le Moyne College women’s basketball team and hung on for a 64-53 victory in non-conference action at BU’s Case Gym on Wednesday afternoon.

The Dolphins trailed the Terriers by a score of 44-27 at halftime, then Le Moyne outscored BU by a tally of 18-7 in the third period, with the help of a 14-0 run to close the quarter, to trim their deficit to six points going into the final frame.
