“Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance” 25th anniversary tour has postponed its upcoming show in Central New York.
The “Lord of the Dance” performance originally scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 14, at the Stanley Theatre in Utica, is now being rescheduled for March 4, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. Organizers said the date had to be postponed “due to unforeseen circumstances,” but did not share more details.
“The Stanley Theatre sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience; tickets for the original date will be honored for the rescheduled date or refunded if you are unable to attend on the new date,” the theater said in a statement.
Refunds will be offered for 30 days through the original point of purchase. For tickets purchased through The Stanley Theatre Box Office, call 315-724-4000. For online purchases, ticket holders can call the theatre box office for assistance or reach out to Ticketmaster directly.
Remaining tickets for the new date will be available through the Stanley Theatre Box Office and Ticketmaster. Prices start at $48, including fees.
“Lord of the Dance,” developed by Michael Flatley after his departure from “Riverdance,” is a stage show that combines high-energy Irish dancing, original music, storytelling and sensuality. Since its premiere 25 years ago, the production has been seen by more than 60 million people worldwide.
