Fans of the popular MacKenzie-Childs Barn Sale will be able to shop in-person this year for the first time since 2019.
The Central New York based home goods brand has announced this year’s annual Barn Sale will take place July 20-24, 2023 both in store and online. Though, the live event won’t look like years past.
The MacKenzie-Childs Barn Sale won’t have big tents and camping on their campus at the 2023 event, but instead the in person part of the sale will be held in their Aurora store and their New York City location. Customers who don’t live near a store location will get to shop the same deals from home.
The sale will still offer exclusive product sets, limited edition ceramics made right in Upstate New York, among other items for up to a 60% discount.
New products will be added every day during the event, including glassware and more seasonal fall and holiday decor. All sales are first come, first serve and are considered final.
Online Barn Sale purchases will be shipped from the warehouse. Customers cannot pick up their purchases from the MacKenzie-Childs campus in Aurora, NY.
The sale once began in a single tent in 1996 and grew to thousands of checkered clad fans taking over the entire Aurora based campus every year. In those days, the only way to get the deals was to come sort through the barns en masse, many decked out in Courtly Check inspired wardrobes.
When the coronavirus pandemic hit, the sale moved to online only from 2020-2022.
