Syracuse, N.Y. — A man pleaded guilty Friday to fatally stabbing a Syracuse man while on work release from state prison last year.
Wendell McNeil, 27, pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter in exchange for 7 1/2 to 15 years in prison. He was originally facing a murder charge with a possible sentence of 25 years to life in prison.
