Man found dead in a ditch along road in town of Onondaga

Onondaga, N.Y. — A man was found dead in a ditch along a road in the town of Onondaga Friday, deputies said.

Around 1 p.m., deputies received a report of a man found in a ditch along the 4000 block of Bussey Road, according to a news release from the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said. The cause of the man’s death is unknown at this time, they said.

The Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office is trying to identify the man and determine his cause of death, deputies said.
