Motorcyclist, 28, killed after crash in Jefferson County, police say

Pamelia, NY – A 28-year-old man was killed after a motorcycle crash on Interstate 81 in the town of Pamelia, police said.

Deven F. Miller of Calcium in Jefferson County was killed in the crash shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday, according to New York State Police in Watertown.

Police said Miller was driving a 2003 Yamaha motorcycle north on I-81 at a high rate of speed when he lost control and left the highway, hitting a sign. He was thrown from his motorcycle and pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
