New water park to open in Central NY, just in time for summer vacation

Here’s some cool news: Central New York is getting a new water park just in time for kids to be let out of school for summer.

The Splash Indoor Water Park Resort will open in the Clarion Inn & Suites Riverfront in Oswego on June 23 and will be open year round. Summer hours are listed to be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day.

Take the plunge and enjoy the park’s water slides, splash pad, activity pool, hot tub, and arcade. You can also book your next event in one of their party rooms.

Not to be left out, adults can also grab a drink from the bar at the Splash Bar & Grill.

Overlooking the Oswego Harbor in Upstate New York, the Clarion Inn & Suites Riverfront and Best Western Plus Oswego Hotel and Conference Center are also offering water park packages for guests looking to stay and play. Packages include a hotel room, access to Splash, multiple water park passes, arcade access cards, food and beverage discounts, and other local attractions.

“Splash will bring families from around the region to Oswego to experience our community, while giving Oswego families more exciting things to do all year round,” Mayor Billy Barlow is quoted on the resort’s website.

The park is hiring for all positions and will have a job fair at 92 East First Street, Oswego from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 3rd for all positions. Job seekers are encouraged to contact Pam Peeling at 315-343-1600, extension 613.

Prices for all-day water park passes range from $25-$35, with kids under the age of two being free admission.
