Fulton, N.Y. — A 17-year-old was shot in the leg at a wedding reception in the city of Fulton early Sunday morning.
Fulton police said they received a call from the Polish Home at First Street at 1:15 Sunday morning for a report of a fight at a wedding reception where there were several hundred guests. As officers were headed to the scene, people at the party reported gunshots.
When officers arrived at the spot, they found no victims, but evidence that there were shots fired from two different guns, Fulton police said.
At 3:30 a.m., Fulton police received a call from a hospital in Utica about a 17-year-old gunshot victim who was shot at the party. He had been shot in the leg. Fulton police said he was treated and released from the hospital. He was not identified by police, who said he was not cooperating with the investigation into the wedding fight.
