Syracuse, N.Y. — A pedestrian was ticketed after being hit by a Syracuse Police vehicle Thursday night, police said.
The pedestrian was walking on the 2500 block of Erie Boulevard East at 10:26 p.m. when they were hit by a Syracuse Police vehicle, said Lt. Matthew Malinowski, a spokesperson for the Syracuse Police.
The pedestrian was taken to Upstate University Hospital with leg pain and non-life-threatening injuries, Malinowski said.
A ticket was given to the pedestrian for walking in the roadway despite a sidewalk being there, said Malinowski.
