Utica, N.Y. — Police are asking for help identifying a man found dead on a Utica road Friday.
Police found the body Friday evening in the area of the state Department of Transportation building at 2436 Chenango Road, Utica police said in a news release Monday.
Police determined the man died of natural causes while walking on the road around noon Friday.
The dead man is described as:
- A white man between 70 to 80 years old
- Has short white hair
- Six feet tall, 155 pounds
He was wearing a white polo shirt with blue and yellow designs, light blue slacks and black shoes when found, police said.
It appeared the man was using the Rayhill walking trail, which may have been a regular walking route for him, police said.
The man may have lived in the New Hartford or New York Mills area, according to police.
